Applications are now being accepted to fill a vacant seat on the Buena Vista School Board.
The vacancy was created when board member Brett Mitchell resigned on June 22.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be a registered voter, have lived within the Buena Vista School District for at least 12 consecutive months, and reside in District 1.
The individual appointed will serve until the next regular school election on November 4, 2027.
Applications must be submitted by August 5.
