The towns of Salida, Buena Vista, and Poncha Springs have implemented outdoor watering restrictions in response to ongoing drought conditions.
Residents may water lawns and landscapes based on whether their street address ends in an odd or even number. Outdoor watering is not permitted on Mondays or between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Officials encourage residents to conserve water whenever possible as communities work to protect local water supplies during the dry summer months.
