Foodshed Alliance has announced the discontinuation of the Buena Vista Farmers Market after years of struggling to maintain consistent community support.
According to the organization, the market was held on four different days and at five different locations over the past 10 years, but continued to face challenges with attendance and long-term sustainability.
Following the announcement, Buena Vista Heritage revealed plans to continue hosting a local farmers market at Turner Farm on Sundays beginning this weekend and running through October 25.
