In Salida and Buena Vista, expect sunshine today with afternoon highs near 56 degrees. Winds may get up to 15 miles per hour and, calming down later this evening. Overnight, temperatures drop to around 26 degrees.
Over in the San Luis Valley, it’s another sunny day ahead with highs near 46. Clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to fall to around 20 degrees.
For Leadville and Fairplay, look for mostly sunny skies today and a cooler high near 39 degrees. Tonight, lows dip to around **19**, with a chance of snow showers developing after 11 p.m.
Looking ahead to the start of the week, we’ll stay mostly clear and sunny through the early part of the week, with the potential for **snow showers returning across the region by mid-week.
