Salida and Buena Vista: We will see sunshine today with highs near 57 degrees and a light breeze through the afternoon. Tonight, temperatures drop to around 30.

In the an Luis Valley: sunny skies and cooler air is expected, with highs near 44. Overnight lows fall to about 22 degrees.

Up in Leadville and Fairplay, will be mostly sunny today with highs around 43, then turning colder tonight with lows near 21.

Looking ahead to the rest of the weekend, mostly sunny and clear through Saturday night, but by Sunday, snowfall may move into the region.
