The Salida City Council will hold its regular meeting tonight, October 13, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Under the consent agenda, council is expected to approve an ordinance removing the Chaffee County residency requirement for short-term rental business licenses.

In unfinished business, members will conduct public hearings on the annexation and zoning of the South Ark neighborhood. Council will also consider an amendment to the municipal code regarding compensation for the Mayor, City Council, and City Treasurer.

In new business, council will adopt the 2026 municipal budget.
