City of Salida Hires New Arts and Culture Manager

The City of Salida has announced the hiring of Kathryn Wadsworth as its new Arts and Culture Manager.

Wadsworth will oversee several initiatives, including the rebranding and revitalization of the SteamPlant Event Center, enhancing event services and programming, and balancing the SteamPlant’s mission to provide opportunities for local theater and arts with the need to remain financially sustainable.

She will work closely with Tina Gramann, the City’s Arts and Culture Programs Supervisor, to ensure that community arts stay at the heart of Salida’s cultural offerings.
