Fire crews successfully contained an 11-acre brush fire in northwest Fremont County yesterday. The fire was reported at 4:30 p.m. off County Road 21 in the Tallahassee area.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and Canon City Fire Protection District responded quickly, preventing damage to structures. The fire is believed to be human-caused, and an investigation is ongoing.
