A quiet weekend for the Decker Fire.
A lot of changes are taking place with the team managing the fire. A Type 3 team is taking over command of the fire today. The Incident Command Center has moved to the Salida Hotel from the Chaffee County Fairgrounds.
The number of people working the fire has dropped to about 150, down from nearly 1,000 during the height of the fire.
The Burned Area Emergency Response Team is completing their final analysis and recommendations. The team will present their findings and recommendations for treatments to the Forest Service and local partners today.
The Decker Fire is listed at 8,959 acres with 100 percent containment.
