A former Buena Vista Corrections guard accused of smuggling a drug-filled burrito into the facility pleaded guilty yesterday.
Trevor Martineau was arrested July 2 after investigators found drugs hidden inside a burrito in his lunch box. He faced five felony charges in the case.
Under the plea agreement, Martineau will face two years in prison followed by one year of parole for one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.
Formal sentencing is scheduled for October 22.
