The Colorado Department of Agriculture is receiving reports from across the state of people receiving unsolicited packages of seeds in the mail that appear to have originated from China.
If you receive these seeds, you are being asked to not plant or toss them, but instead hold onto the seeds and keep them inside the original package, including the mailing label.
Unsolicited seeds could be invasive, introduce disease, and be harmful to livestock and wildlife.
If you receive a package of these seeds you are asked to contact the Colorado Department of Agriculture at 303-548-5333.
