The Salida Chamber of Commerce has named the Chaffee County Community Foundation as their June ‘Business of the Month.’
The foundation created the Emergency Response Fund to provide financial assistance to local individuals and families impacted by COVID-19. To date, the foundation has raised over $400,000 and has distributed about $250,000.
The Chaffee County Community Foundation has recently launched the Food Access Cohort, supplying $20,000 for non-profits to join forces to combat hunger in the county.
