A Canon City man was killed in a motorcycle crash yesterday afternoon 3 miles southwest of Wetmore in Custer County.
The Colorado State Patrol says 52-year-old Thomas Gudding was northbound on Colorado 96 when he failed to properly negotiate a curve.
Drugs, alcohol and excessive speed are not suspected as factors in the crash.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred yesterday afternoon on Highway 24, two miles north of Buena Vista. The crash resulted in a power outage and small grass fire.
24-year-old Brandon Gray of Leadville was driving south on Highway 24 when he traveled off the left side of the road, striking a power pole.
Gray and his passengers, 27-year-old Katelynn Crawford and five children, were transported to Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center with various injuries.
