Motorists can expect delays today and tomorrow on Highway 50 between Salida and Howard due to paving operations. 

Travelers will encounter full stops and one-lane alternating traffic guided by portable traffic signals. Motorists traveling between Salida and Howard should allow themselves additional travel time and anticipate up to 30-minute delays. 

Also, road work continues on Highway 50 just east of Maysville. Construction includes shoulder work, pavement widening and lane reconfiguration.

A construction project continues on Highway 24 between Florissant and Divide. Expect 15-minute delays with one-lane alternating traffic.

Delays and closures continue on Highway 50 through Little Blue Creek Canyon between Gunnison and Montrose.  For a closure schedule, go to us50info.com.

And be aware that the Colorado Department of Transportation has begun striping operations on Highways 50 and 24.
