A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Friday morning for areas above 9,000 feet, where up to a foot of new snow could fall along the Divide.
Roads are expected to be wet and slick in the lower elevations, transitioning to snow packed roads overnight, especially along high mountain passes and mountain corridors.
