A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect. Strong winds, bitterly cold arctic air, and moderate to heavy snow will continue to impact the mountains.
Winds could gust in excess of 50 mph at times and will cause blowing and drifting of snow making travel hazardous in the higher elevations. The mountains will see up to 3 feet of new snow through Monday.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 29. A low of 15.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 23, a low of 9.
Leadville and Fairplay look for a high of 13 with a low of 5.
