The Rio Blanco Fire burning 12 miles south of Pagosa Springs has grown to over 1,000 acres with 11% containment. Mandatory evacuations have been ordered in the area.
The Aspen Acres Fire in Custer, Pueblo, Fremont, and Huerfano counties has burned 102,000 acres with containment at 67%. A total of 520 personnel remain on the scene. A community meeting will take place tonight at 7pm in Colorado City. The meeting will also be available on the Aspen Acres Fire Facebook page.
The Willow Fire west of Leadville is 7,200 acres with 67% containment. All evacuation zones have been downgraded to pre-evacuation status.
The Gold Mountain Fire burning in Montrose, Ouray and Gunnison counties is just over 39,000 acres with 72% containment.
Stage 2 Fire Restrictions remain in effect for Chaffee, Park, Lake, Saguache and Fremont Counties. Custer County has moved to Stage 1 restrictions.
