A wildfire is burning in Park County six miles southwest of Bailey in the Lost Creek Wilderness Area.
The Shawnee Peak Fire has burned 37 acres and is 0 percent contained.
The U.S. Forest says multiple aircraft are on the scene working the fire. Three hotshot crews will arrive on the scene today.
No structures have been reported as threatened. The cause is unknown.
Elevated fire danger will persist across the Upper Arkansas Valley through tomorrow under hot, dry and breezy conditions.
