Tropical Storm Priscilla continues to bring heavy rain and widespread flooding to southwestern Colorado, forcing evacuations and causing significant property damage in La Plata and Archuleta counties.

Officials say more than 100 homes have sustained water damage, with some seeing up to two feet of water inside. Another 400 homes remain under evacuation orders as rainfall continues today and is expected again tomorrow.

Video shared on social media shows the Pagosa Springs hot springs resort underwater, highlighting the extent of the flooding in the region.

Both La Plata County and Archuleta County have declared local disaster emergencies, allowing for expedited access to state funding and additional assistance for residents affected by the storm.
