Chaffee County Road and Bridge is closing County Road 210 south of County Road 214 continues today for culvert replacements.   

No traffic, including bike and pedestrian, will be allowed from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm each day.   

The Salida Public Works Department will be working to complete pavement and curb markings in the downtown area from Sackett Avenue to 3rd Street between E and G Streets.   

Work is scheduled to occur tomorrow. Access will be maintained, however, some parking stalls will be inaccessible.   

The Colorado Department of Transportation continues resurfacing work on a 10-mile stretch of Highway 50 between Coaldale and Texas Creek. Expect one-lane alternating traffic, width restrictions, and reduced speeds. 

Highway 50 closures continue between Gunnison and Montrose. Closures will affect the Little Blue Creek Canyon area just east of Blue Mesa Reservoir. For real time road conditions, including closures, go to cotrip.org.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
