A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the higher elevations through 6 am Friday.
An active weather pattern will bring snowfall over the mountains through Monday. The heaviest snow will fall tonight with a foot possible above 10,000 feet. Plan on hazardous driving conditions, especially over high mountain passes.
The valley will see a rain/snow mix.
Salida and Buena Vista will see a high of 49, a low of 25.
The San Luis Valley can expect a high of 47, a low of 25.
Leadville and Fairplay will warm up to 33, a low of 9.
