The Colorado Secretary of State has approved Initiative 107 for the November general election ballot.
If approved by voters, the initiative would re-introduce the Gray Wolf to the state. Gray wolves would be reintroduced on designated lands west of the Continental Divide.
Two other initiatives were also approved yesterday by the Secretary of State.
The National Popular Vote Referendum challenges a Colorado Senate Bill signed by Governor Jared Polis making Colorado one of 15 states to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. The compact proposes disregarding the Electoral College and making the U.S. Presidential election a straight popular vote.
Initiative 76 will ask voters the question, “Shall there be an amendment to the Colorado Constitution requiring that to be qualified to vote in any election an individual must be a United States citizen.”
