The Colorado Department of Transportation and contracting partner Martin Marietta will have intermittent closures of business access on US Highway 24 in Divide for milling and paving operations.
Intermittent access restrictions will begin on US 24 in Divide on June 30 and go through July 11. The closures will take place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with no work July 3 through 6 in observance of Independence Day.
When milling operations take place crews will temporarily restrict business access to allow the milling machine to pass through the area. Once milling is complete business access will reopen. After milling is complete crews will need to temporarily restrict business access to perform paving operations and will reopen access once paving is complete. Traffic Impacts US 24 between Florissant and Divide and CO 67 in Woodland Park, traffic impacts will include:Daytime work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday.Occasional nighttime hours Sunday night through Friday morning from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.Delays up to 15 minutes.Single lane closures and one-lane, alternating traffic guided by a pilot car.Speeds reduced in work zone.
