Dr. Temple Grandin will be in Salida August 7th to share insights on livestock, education, trade skills, and the power of neurodiverse minds.
Dr. Grandin will kick off the day at Brew and Bloom, one of Achieve Inc. social enterprises providing job skills training for neurodiverse individuals.
She will then be joined by local agricultural leaders for lunch. In the afternoon, Dr. Grandin will speak at Salida High School. The day concludes at the SteamPlant with an open community gathering, followed by a keynote address and screening of the award winning film, “Temple Grandin.”
