Ark Valley Humane Society’s annual fundraiser “Cause for the Paws” is tomorrow night at the SteamPlant.

[Update] The Decker Fire is 6,482 acres. Fire crews have gained some containment on the north side; it is now 14% contained.
Despite gusty winds on Saturday, the Decker Fire only grew by some 200 acres. The fire is now 6,155 acres with 5 percent containment.
The evacuation center has been moved to the Rotary Scout Hut in Riverside Park in Salida.
The valley will see a sunny high of 65 today, a low of 33. Winds are out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.
