The State of Colorado has issued a cease-and-desist order against Wilson Funeral Home in Cañon City, citing operation without a valid state registration.
According to the order, the funeral home continued offering services after its state license expired in November 2024. State officials directed Wilson Funeral Home to immediately stop providing goods and services until the matter is resolved.
Under state regulations, the business has the right to request a hearing within 10 days to contest the order.
