If you’re planning to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this weekend, remember, the luck of the Irish will only get you so far if you choose to drive impaired.
The Colorado Department of Transportation is joining forces with local law enforcement and the Colorado State Patrol for the St. Patrick’s Day Weekend enforcement period that runs today through Monday, March 21st.
Drivers this weekend will encounter sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols and additional law enforcement on duty dedicated to impaired driving enforcement.
A DUI could cost you a lot of green. Penalties are determined by the court and may very well exceed $13,000.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
