Smoke-Fire Update

Heavy smoke from large wildfires in Arizona is being blown into Colorado, however, air quality is expected to gradually improve today. 

The Pipeline Fire has scorched thousands of acres near Flagstaff, forcing evacuations. The Pipeline Fire was reported Sunday and has burned 4,500 acres as of yesterday.   

The Lopez Fire continues to burn 10 miles north of Del Norte, off Forest Service Road 670. Residents of the La Garita Creek area are being advised to remain on alert. The Lopez Fire remains at 88 acres with no containment. 

A Red Flag Fire Warning continues for the San Luis Valley.
