Senator Donovan begins study looking at the economic impact of COVID-19.

State Senator Kerry Donovan has requested that an interim study committee be formed to look at the impact and effect of COVID-19 on the economy and the methods or mechanisms by which the state and legislature may need to revitalize our economy and support the people of Colorado.

Donovan says the solutions may include grant programs, grace periods for things like student loans, modifications to licensing requirements, waiving fees, tax relief, tax credits for businesses, and economic stimulus packages.

The task force would be made up of 4 members and the House of Representatives and 4 State Senators.
