Save Our Arkansas Valley (SOAV), a local organization opposing the development of a geothermal power plant near the base of Mt. Princeton, is organizing a Rally to Save Maxwell Park on Wednesday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon.
📍 Location:
Maxwell Park at Lost Creek – the intersection of County Road 323 and Rodeo Road.
This roadside rally aims to raise awareness about the Colorado State Land Board’s pending decision on June 12, when it will vote on whether to renew the lease that allows geothermal drilling on Maxwell Park State Trust Lands.
