A high wind warning remains in effect for our area through Saturday as a winter storm system moves through Colorado. The mountains should be looking for several inches of snow to accumulate with an 80 percent chance of snow showers, while the valleys will see little stick with a 50 percent chance of flurries during the day.

Highs in the valleys today will peak out at 37 with lows tonight dropping to 22 as the system moves out.

The mountains will see a high of 19 today with wind chills expected to drop to negative temperatures during the day. Overnight, lows will drop to 7.
