Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected for your Saturday, with greatest coverage over the high country, and the San Juan mountains. IN parts of the region, there is chances of small hail, wind gusts up to 45 mph, and potentially heavy rainfall.
Upper Arkansas Valley: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Sunny, with a high near 75. Light wind around 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Then back down to a low around 37 overnight with a chance of more rain showers.
San Luis Valley: A slight chance of showers starting at 2pm, Increasing clouds, with a high near 69. Then back down to a low around 33 overnight with mostly cloudy skies.
Leadville & Fairplay: A slight chance of rain showers after 3pm, mixing with snow after 5pm. Some thunder is also possible. Sunny, with a high near 54. Tonight, we will see mostly cloudy skies with a low around 28.
