The Thanksgiving performances of Salida’s Next Last Waltz have been postponed due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in the community. 

The shows have been moved to February 18^th, 19^th and 20^th, 2022.

Organizers of the concert said on their Facebook page, “In light of the current Covid-19 surge throughout our community and state, Salida’s Next Last Waltz has made the very difficult decision to postpone our 2021 Thanksgiving shows. We take the safety of our community and direction from our local Public Health officials very seriously. Indoor events, regardless of vaccination status, are not safe right now. Our cast and production team thank you for your understanding as we continue to navigate this new world.”

Tickets can be exchanged for the new dates or fully refunded beginning Wednesday.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado. Dan enjoys being involved in the community, having been a member of the Upper Arkansas Service Club and is currently on the board of directors for the Salida Community Center and is a member of the Chaffee County Fair Committee.
