What: Salida Theater Project invites actors ages 10 and up (experienced and not!) to audition for A Very Merry Christmas Carol — a one-hour, podcast-style live performance of playwright Mark Shanahan’s fresh take on Dickens’ classic holiday story.
Actors will portray male and female characters from young Tiny Tim to the spirits of Christmas. If you can do a proper British accent and want to skip the stress of memorizing lines, this is your chance to have fun bringing Scrooge, Mrs. Cratchit, nephew Fred and all the usual suspects to life. Scripts will be provided to read from for the auditions.
