Students in Salida Schools will get a day off tomorrow after the district reached its ticket sales goal for an upcoming rivalry soccer match.
Superintendent Dr. David Blackburn announced that Thursday will be a “Snow Day” after the community met the milestone of selling 600 tickets to the April 14 Salida vs. Buena Vista soccer game.
About 100 tickets are still available for the matchup, which is expected to draw a strong crowd.
During halftime, the Spartan girls’ state championship team will be recognized as part of the event’s celebration.
