The Salida School District is now accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Board of Education as an at-large director. The appointed term will begin in February and continue through the next regularly scheduled election in November 2027.
Interested candidates are asked to submit a one-page personal introduction along with a one-page essay outlining what they hope to accomplish while serving on the board. Application materials must be submitted by the end of business today.
The Board of Education will conduct candidate interviews on February 10. Community members with an interest in supporting public education and helping guide the district’s future are encouraged to apply.
