Salida has an expansive singletrack network of trails. Yet with more mileage comes more maintenance.

Salida Mountain Trails is beefing up their trail stewardship program and they’re looking for volunteers to help keep the trails in tip-top shape. Roles range from walking or riding your favorite trail to flag problems, all the way up to leading volunteer crews on your own. To properly expand their capacity, they’re looking for folks willing to get dirty and eager to get trained in trail maintenance.

No prior trail work experience is required to become a Trail Steward. They’ll provide all the training and tools you need.
