Salida Mountain Trails has released its 2024 Annual Report, reflecting a year of major milestones in trail use, maintenance, and volunteer engagement.
Key highlights include:
- 405,000+ total trail trips across Arkansas Hills, Methodist Mountain, and Monarch Crest
- 45,000 trips on the new skills park in just 3 months
- 1,500 volunteer hours contributed
- 5 miles of new trail adopted at Monarch Crest
- 4,000+ feet of trail rerouted or rehabbed
- 87 new members, bringing total membership to 452
- 4 cleanup events removing 1,000 pounds of trash and 100+ pounds of dog waste
