The Chaffee County Clerk Office’s Motor Vehicle Office Salida branch (104 Crestone, Salida) will be closed from Monday, June 14th through Wednesday, June 16th while its staff attends training.
The Salida Motor Vehicle office will return to regular operating hours on Thursday, June 17th.
The Buena Vista Motor Vehicle Office branch (112 Linderman Ave, Buena Vista) will remain open during this period for its regular hours, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. They can also be reached at 719-395-8296.
The Recording Office located in the Clerk’s Main Office at 104 Crestone will also remain open for regular hours, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Many transactions, including license plate renewals, can be accomplished through the Chaffee County Clerk’s website without needing to visit a physical office location. Visit https://chaffeeclerk.colorado.gov/ for additional guidance.
