The City of Salida is inviting residents to a second community meeting to review updated designs for a proposed affordable housing development and public park. The session will also include a summary of community feedback gathered during the first meeting.

City staff will present revised concepts, answer questions, and share the projected timeline for securing project funding. A key topic will be the upcoming Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) application, which could supply a major share of the project’s financial support. The application is due in February, and officials say this meeting will help residents better understand the process and expected next steps.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 8th, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Salida Fire House Meeting Room, located at 611 Oak Street. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
