Salida Farmers Market Season Ends with Shedfest; Winter Market Begins November 15th

The Salida Farmers Market will wrap up its 2025 season with Shedfest on Saturday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Alpine Park.

Community members are invited to celebrate the close of the market season with a full morning of festivities including apple cider pressing, a pie-baking contest, chili cook-off, and live performances by the Salida High School Marching Band and the Salida Circus.

Shedfest marks the final outdoor market of the year, and organizers say it’s a chance to thank the community, farmers, and local vendors for another successful season.

The market season continues indoors with the Chaffee County Winter Farmers Market, held every Saturday from November 15 through December 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds in Poncha Springs.

The Winter Market will feature locally grown produce, coffee, hot food, artisan goods, crafts, and holiday gifts from regional vendors.
