The Salida Elks Lodge is calling on the community to help support its annual Christmas Basket program, which provides food and gifts to local families in need during the holiday season.
Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, toys, and tax-deductible monetary contributions to assist in purchasing additional essentials. Donations can be dropped off at the lodge, located at 148 East 2nd Street, now through December 16.
Elks Lodge members will assemble and distribute the Christmas Baskets on December 19 and 20, ensuring that families across the area receive support and holiday cheer.
