The Salida cross country team is taking a full contingent to state this season, with the boys team finishing just three points out of first behind TCA, while the girls finished third just one point off of the Alamosa team score.
Individually, Finley Petit was the lead runner for the Spartans, taking 5th as an individual. Frank DeCew, Bean Minor and Elijah Wilcox took 8th, 9th and 10th respectively to round out the top ten finishers for Salida.
Quinn Smith was the top finisher for the Spartan ladies, with a 9th place finish to lead the way. Lanee Dziura would come in 14th and Alex Hebert rounded out the top three Spartans with 18th.
