Salida Council to Re-close F Street/Appoint New Council Member

The Salida City Council will conduct a regular meeting tonight beginning at 6pm. 

Under New Business, council will enter into a pre-annexation agreement with the Salida School District for 627 Oak Street, vote on the subdivision improvement and inclusionary housing agreement for the Flour Mill development, and will vote on a resolution reauthorizing the temporary closure of F Street between Sackett Avenue and 2^nd Street.

Salida City Council members will also appoint a new council member to fill the vacancy in Ward 3.  Seven citizens applied for the vacancy and were interviewed at last night’s work session: Jackie Berndt, Wayles Martin, Adam Martinez, Richard Parker, Cory Riggs, R. Wolf Perlman and Mark Wisehart.
