The Salida City Council will hold a work session tonight beginning at 6 pm. 

Council will first hold a joint session with the Planning Commission to discuss the Peyrouse Right of Way vacation.  Council will then hold discussions on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and the pool temperature at the Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center.  Council members will also discuss adopting Bob’s Rules of Order for regular meetings. 

The Salida City Council will hold a regular meeting tomorrow night where they will vote on a resolution approving the donation of Colorado Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Funds Monies to MINDSOURCE-Brain Injury Network.

Council will also hold a first reading of an ordinance on proposed amendments to the Vandaveer Ranch Planned Area Development and will consider an emergency ordinance reappointing and setting compensation for Cheryl Hardy-Moore as Municipal Court Judge for a two year term commencing January 1, 2020 and running through December 31, 2021. 

Council members will adjourn to executive session to discuss matters related to utility service and to receive legal advice concerning a personnel matter.

Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
