Following a special meeting, the Salida City Council has directed the city attorney to negotiate settlement terms in the ongoing litigation involving the Town of Poncha Springs, Tailwind LLC, Full Views Matter LLC, and the City of Salida.
The lawsuit concerns an intergovernmental agreement between Salida and Poncha Springs regarding the joint operation of a wastewater treatment system. The City of Salida is working to resolve the legal dispute and bring clarity to the partnership on wastewater management.
