The Salida City Council will hold a regular meeting tonight beginning at 6 pm.
Council will hold a second reading and public hearing on an ordinance that would raise the minimum age to purchase or consume tobacco in Salida to 21.
The proposed ordinance would also prohibit the sale of any flavored tobacco products, including menthol, anywhere in the city.
Council will also make appointments to the Historic Preservation and Planning Commissions.
