The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park unveiled its two newest gondolas over the weekend — and these rides offer a thrilling twist. Unlike traditional gondolas, the new additions feature glass floors, giving riders a direct view straight down into the canyon below.

The gondolas carry visitors 2,200 feet across the gorge while suspended 1,200 feet above the Arkansas River. With the transparent flooring, the entire journey unfolds beneath your feet, offering a heart-pounding perspective of one of Colorado’s most iconic landmarks.

The two new glass-floor gondolas join the park’s existing fleet of traditional enclosed gondolas, which have been a popular attraction for years. For those who would rather not look straight down during the crossing, standard gondolas remain available.

Gondola rides are included with park admission.
