Nearly three years after his arrest for reportedly starting a fire at an RV resort and leading police on a chase, Robert Fay pleaded guilty yesterday in District Court as part of a plea agreement.
Fay pleaded guilty to menacing with a deadly weapon and criminal attempt to commit assault of an at-risk person, both felonies.
He was sentenced during yesterday’s hearing to one year in prison for the menacing charge and two years for the assault charge.
Fay was arrested in November of 2017 after leading officers on a chase from Coaldale to Canon City after starting a fire at Bighorn RV Resort and stealing a pick-up truck.
