A new construction project has begun on Highway 24 between Florissant and Divide. Expect delays with one-lane alternating traffic.
Construction delays can also be expected through Woodland Park.
Road work continues on Highway 50 just east of Maysville. A new right-hand turn lane is being constructed to accommodate trucks turning into the R.B. Pit. Construction will include shoulder work, pavement widening and lane reconfiguration. Motorists will see one-lane alternating traffic and delays of up to 15 minutes. The work is expected to be completed by the end of June.
Also, delays and closures continue on Highway 50 through Little Blue Creek Canyon between Gunnison and Montrose. For closure schedule, go to us50info.com.
Danny “Dan R” Ridenour has been in radio and television broadcasting for over 40 years, starting as a senior in high school in Rogers, Arkansas. His radio career has had stops in Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, and eventually, Colorado.
